Wow!! The time has come for this to finally go live and I’m so humbled and grateful to get my “baby” up and running.
To start out, I want to say a huge HELLO to anyone reading this, as I’m so touched that you’ve come here to read out my life and adventures. It means a lot.
And with that…
A little about me, my name is Stephanie (if that wasn’t too obviously from the name of this blog). I’m 30 years old and I live in Los Angeles, California. I’ve lived in SoCal for my entire life and there’s no place I’d rather be! I work in a financial institution as an internal auditor and I’ve been doing that for about a year now, with my career working in banking and risk management for about 10 years. However, I have a degree in psychology and when I was younger, I had wanted to be a school psychologist. Alas, I had worked at a bank as a teller to pay for college and I just never left except to take on bigger and better opportunities in the financial services industry.

At home, I have a wonderful husband, little boy and sweet pup. My hubs and I have been together for about 13 years, married for six. And our rambunctious son is 3 1/2 years old. My first baby, a German Shepard-Chow mix named Nugget, is our constant companion and just the best dog ever!! I really enjoy reading in my spare time, though I will admit I haven’t been able to do very much of that lately. My other favorite thing to do is sleep, but my husband likes to tell me that it really isn’t a hobby… but between us, let’s just call it that. We also like to go to the beach (since we live about 5-10 miles away) and spend time with our family, which we are lucky enough to be close to. I love to shop and some of my favorite stores are Macy’s, Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack, Loft, Gap, Old Navy and Target.
I guess the biggest question is why this blog was started and why should you read it… Well, as I’ve mentioned, I work in a corporate environment and that often leads to boring, frumpy-looking outfits from those who are stuck in an office or cubicle all day long. In my opinion, I feel my best and perform my job functions to a better capacity when I feel good about myself. One of the ways I do that are to dress up a little… I’m not talking about ball gowns here, just adding a little fashion and trendiness to my wardrobe to make it not so dreary (aka “I-didn’t-just-roll-out-of-bed-and-come-to-work”).
I really hope that you stick around and leave me a couple comments so I can also get to know you better too!!
Love,
