I’ve been doing a terrible job at keeping up with my blog since baby Morgan came along. It’s definitely true what they say about going from one to two children… it’s a big leap and learning how to handle both is a balancing act that hubby and I are still trying to figure out. And with our struggles with Nolan at school when he started TK (a topic for another post), giving birth and all that come with a new baby, going back to work in February and then COVID shutdowns starting in March, life has been quite the roller coaster.
But back to updating you on how my sweet baby Morgan is doing now that she is NINE MONTHS OLD… I can’t believe my little one is more than half a year old and we are quickly approaching her birthday! It feels like yesterday that we were coming home from the hospital and starting our new life as a family of four. We haven’t had her 9-month appointment yet (we go later this week) but at her last visit at 7 months, she was 15lbs 14 oz, which put her in the 31% for weight. She’s sort of crawling, but more so scooting on her belly and pushing with her legs/pulling with her arms to make her way on the floor. She is also starting to want to pull up on things and if we help her, she likes to try to walk… cue baby proofing everything in our house!! And she is SOOOO talkative. She can say ‘mama’, ‘dada’ and ‘bruhhhh’ (which we think means brother). I’m starting to hear her make different sounds as well which is super exciting. She still has two teeth, both on the bottom.
Some of her LOVES are:
- Cucumbers, beans and rice, broccoli
- Playing peek-a-boo
- Sleeping in mama’s arms
Love,
