Well hello! Seems like it’s been ages since I’ve been able to sit down and write a blog post, but I’ll tell you what… going from one kid to two is NO JOKE! Little Miss Morgan is almost four months now and while I’m loving every minute of being her mommy, I’m definitely feeling the exhaustion of having an infant again. One of the things we’ve been struggling with is sleep. Just for context, we never struggled with getting our older child, Nolan, who is now five, to sleep. He was awesome from Day 1 and would nap and sleep through the night like a champ. I guess it’s true what they say, don’t expect your kids to be the same, because this little girl is a terrible napper and definitely doesn’t like to snooze when we want her to during the nighttime. She’s a light sleeper as well, and prefers to nap in my arms, which isn’t really conducive to getting things done around the house or getting sleep myself!!
I was introduced to the Little Ones Baby Sleep Program, specifically for babies 3-12 months and designed to address all of the sleep issues we’ve been experiencing with Morgan. I think I just about fell on my knees in gratitude because I’ve been worried about getting her on more of a schedule and making sure she can get good naps and nighttime sleep before I have to go back to work in about three weeks.

What the Little Ones Sleep Program focuses on is your baby’s awake and nap times, as well as the length of those time periods. I really liked how flexible this program is, because with a elementary-age child that needs to be dropped off and picked up from school, sports practices, as well as my husband and (soon-to-be) my jobs and mixing in caregivers, our days can be pretty hectic. It’s not a “one-size-fits-all” solution, which makes it much more successful for both the parents and child. When you first read through the program, there are lots of articles for just about every scenario that your baby could experience, such as self-settling, sleep regressions (which we are about to go through so you KNOW I’m bookmarking that page), early waking, sickness and more! Everything is laid out, simple to read and with troubleshooting guides and videos, you feel confident and that you have all relevant information to address any sleep issues that come your way!!
There’s also detailed schedules based on your baby’s age, as well as “methods” so you can choose how you are getting your baby to sleep that makes this program so customize-able, and why it really works for all different types of families and babies… just like no baby is alike, they are all going to sleep differently.

Since we implemented the sleep techniques, it took about 1-2 weeks to really see an improvement in Morgan, but we definitely feel like there is a noticeable increase in the hours she is sleeping as well as the quality, as she’s a much happier baby when waking and I’m a much happier mommy, since I’m getting the sleep I need to function. I highly recommend checking this out for your little one. If you would like to try out any of the Little Ones Sleep Program, be sure to use code STEPHANIE for a 15% off discount!!
